Course Overview
The course is for students who have successfully completed the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, or who are exempt from this stage, and wish to further develop their knowledge and/or progress to the AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting (Level 4).

Entry Requirements
Completion of the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.
In certain circumstances students who have other relevant qualifications at Level 2 or above and/or have worked in an accounting environment may start at this level. These students will be required to get agreement from the Course Tutor and complete an online assessment.
Course Structure
Course Description
There are specified units which make up the key roles of the accounting occupation at this level. These units are as follows;
- Management Accounting Techniques
- Tax Processes
- Business Awareness
- Financial Accounting: Preparing Financial Statements

Assessment
You are required to successfully complete a Computer Based Assessment for each unit detailed above.
Progression
Progress onto the AAT Professional Diploma (L4) and AAT membership.
