Book a Campus Tour
At Coastland College, we want every young person to feel comfortable and confident when exploring their next steps. While our Open Events are the best way to experience college for most students, we also offer bookable, individual tours for those who may benefit from a more tailored visit.
Who these tours are for
You can request a personalised tour if the learner:
- Is home educated or in alternative provision
- Has an EHCP
- Needs additional support (learning, health, sensory, social or emotional)
- Would find busy open events overwhelming
- Is being supported by a professional (e.g. SENCO, Careers Adviser, Social Worker)
- Will be of college age in the next academic year
These visits are designed to be calm, flexible, and tailored to individual needs. However, we do encourage students to attend our open events where possible, as they provide the best opportunity to explore your chosen campus and meet lecturers and support staff.
What to expect from a personalised tour
We’ll take the time to make your visit feel relaxed and supportive. This may include:
- A tailored route around campus
- A quieter pace with time to ask questions
- Meeting the right support staff
- Access to quiet spaces if needed
To help us plan your visit, please allow at least one week’s notice.
Please note that tours are not available during half terms or school holidays, including the period from 18 June to 11 September.
