What happens at our Open Events?
Our open events follow a two-session structure, giving you the flexibility to book onto one or both sessions.
At the beginning of each session, you’ll hear a welcome talk from a member of our Senior Leadership Team, followed by a tour of the subject area you’re interested in. During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore our facilities, meet our staff and ask any questions you may have.
Following the tour, our friendly team will be available to answer any further questions and, if you’re ready, help you with the application process.
Where can I park?
Weymouth Campus – Free Parking is available in the main campus carpark which is located by the Sport Centre. No permit is needed. Please follow the event parking signs.
Cranford Avenue, DT4 7LQ, Weymouth
Kingston Maurward Campus –Free parking is available in the main campus car park which is located by the Learning Resources Centre. No permit is needed. Please follow the event parking signs.
Kingston Maurward Estate, DT2 8PY, Dorchester
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we recommend pre-registering to secure your place and help us plan your visit.
Can I bring a parent, carer or friend?
Absolutely, parents, carers, friends and family members are welcome to attend with you. On the booking you will be asked to register for one ticket which should be booked under the students name who is interested in studying with us.
What happens after I attend?
After the event, you can apply online, speak further with our admissions team, or contact us with any additional questions.
