If you enjoy working with children and want to help them learn, develop and thrive, Early Years & Childcare could be the path for you. You’ll explore child development, play, communication and wellbeing while gaining valuable experience in real settings.
Where will I learn?
You’ll study at Weymouth Campus, with specialist facilities including a mock children’s nursery. Work placements are an important part of Early Years & Childcare courses, giving you experience in real childcare settings.
What qualifications can I take?
Routes include Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2 courses, plus a Level 3 T Level specialising in Education and Early Years, with opportunity to progress to further study.
Where could it take me?
You could progress into nurseries, schools, childcare settings or family support roles, or continue to higher-level study towards careers such as early years teaching, teaching or other children’s services.
