Course overview
You will study a Level 2 Blacksmithing and Welding qualification, developing your skills in welding and in the forge to have the basic specialist skills and knowledge in this vocational area.
Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs at grade 3 or higher, to include English and mathematics, and a satisfactory educational reference will need to be received.

. Work experience is an essential element of the course.
You will also enhance your broader skills in literacy and numeracy, which will be invaluable in supporting progression in other areas. In addition, you will develop transferable technical and practical skills in communication, research and project work, giving you an opportunity to demonstrate your reflective practice by suggesting alternative approaches to a problem.
