If you want a career that keeps you active and takes you outside, Outdoor Adventure could be for you. Develop skills in activities such as kayaking, canoeing, climbing, abseiling, walking and expedition work while building confidence and leadership skills.
Where will I learn?
You’ll be based at Kingston Maurward, using our countryside estate and wider Dorset environment for practical activities, outdoor training and expeditions, including our Coastland Adventure outlet for water sports at Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy.
What qualifications can I take?
Outdoor Adventure currently includes Level 2 and Level 3 routes, with opportunities to gain additional activity awards and experience.
Where could it take me?
Progress into outdoor instruction, activity centres, adventure tourism, coaching and related roles. You could also continue to higher-level qualifications and specialist outdoor training.
