Coastland College’s Adult Learning ESOL Skills Bootcamp helps learners develop the English language skills needed to succeed in the workplace, with a focus on the care sector.
Through practical, real-world activities, learners will improve their communication skills, build sector-specific vocabulary, and gain the confidence needed to work effectively with colleagues, clients and service users.
Course Structure
Course Description
The ESOL Skills Bootcamp will help learners develop practical English language skills for the workplace, including speaking, listening, reading and writing. Learners will build confidence in workplace communication, improve their understanding of care sector terminology, and develop the skills needed to communicate effectively with colleague, clients and service users whole enhancing their employability.

- Location: This course will be delivered at our Adult Learning Centre at our Weymouth Campus
Funding
The programme is government funded, requiring only a small employer contribution towards the overall cost.
Employer constributions are set at £320 for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and £960 for large employers, making this a highly cost-effective way to invest in workforce development, while benefiting from high-quality training through Coastland College Adult Learning.
