Managing Safely (IOSH)

Course overview

Delivered through the Adult Learning Team, this three-day course is designed to give managers and supervisors an understanding of everyone’s responsibilities in the workplace, enabling them to recognise how the can influence, control and monitor risk to help improve health and safety issues within their workplace.

  • Understanding responsibilities
  • Understanding hazards
  • Investigating incidents
  • Measuring performance

The 3 day course is a minimum of 21 contact hours, and will be delivered at the Coastland College Weymouth Campus site, Cranford Avenue, with free parking available and refreshments and lunch provided.  Training can be delivered on site to meet business needs, please contact us to discuss a pre-course assessment of your premises.

A maximum of 16 students are allowed on all training sessions and there is a multiple choice exam at the end of the course. Certificates will be distributed within 10 working days of the end of the course.
